Resource & Energy Group (REZ) is unlocking and adding value to low-risk historic mineral resource discoveries in premier mining districts in Western Australia and Queensland.
Our projects encompass epithermal and orogenic lode gold and base metals systems with particular emphasis on new economy or ‘Critical Mineral’ prospecting.
The projects are located close to established regional centres, with local businesses dedicated to the servicing of the resources sectors. Our activities in Western Australia are already the subject of commercial gold mining operations.
Recent exploration has revealed that the tenement group is also host to many of the “green metals” being used to decarbonise the globe. These metals include significant intervals of Nickel, Cobalt, Chromium and Zinc, and noteworthy intervals of Copper, Platinum and Palladium. These elements are all identified in the 2021 United States Federal Strategy (Department of Interior) to protect, secure and ensure reliable supplies of Critical Minerals.
East Menzies Project
The Menzies Gold Project is located 130km north of Kalgoorlie. The project has a collective surface area of 82km2 and consists of three mining leases, one exploration licence and 38 prospecting leases.
Mount Mackenzie Project
The Mount Mackenzie mine site is located 150kms north west of Rockhampton, Queensland. The granted tenements of land are significant as they encompass four areas which have been subject to a number of successful exploration campaigns targeting shallow depth gold mineralisation.
